Biography

Who is Bill Owens? What is “Post Classic Rock”? The answers to those questions come from
six musicians based in Hoboken, New Jersey. Melding the solid roots of classic rock with
current sensibilities that dig deep into the spirit of raunchy good times, the Bill Owens Five has
been thrilling audiences for years. Mixing up a selection of riveting original songs that range in
style from hard rock, indie pop, funk to experimental soundscapes, Bill Owens Five is always
ready and willing to take chances all over the musical spectrum.
“Post Classic Rock”. The music of Bill Owens Five epitomizes their original creation: Post
Classic Rock. What is this Post Classic Rock you speak of? It’s the latest sound from the
children of the people who bought the records of the people who brought you Classic Rock!
Sound like a mouthful? It’s as if the late 1960’s and 70’s had a child in the 21st century. The
child’s name would be Bill and he would write music called Post Classic Rock. Now it all makes
sense!!!
Where is the great music of today? Whatever happened to raucous rock and roll? Where can a
music fan go and experience the pure energy of a spontaneous performance?
Who is Bill Owens? Come and find out…
