New Album Review on Blog: Speak Into My Good Eye

The Hoboken seven-piece definitely placed its best foot forward beginning this 12-track collection with “Anjali.” This song’s tempo alternation between the verses and chorus successfully aids in conveying that the protagonist’s love for his Anjali is like a bumpy voyage down a dirt road in the backwoods of Jersey. It has its inclines and steep drop offs but there’s no other highway or byway he’d rather trek. “My Anjali is a long promenade/on the town,” sings Joe Montague, “My racing heart settle down, settle down/I could stay here forever.” Such is love I suppose. Jamie Interview on Planet Verge

The first song I ever wrote…I used to write songs that went nowhere in middle school and high school. While in college I started to seriously write music and play in some bands. One of the songs I wrote was called “Dagobah Yoda” which by the name was a reference to the Star Wars character Yoda’s home planet of Dagobah. Pretty dorky I know. I am a Star Wars geek.

Rosewood Ghosts Featured on Hoboken Patch

Rosewood Ghosts at Paul Vincent Studios
Dark skies and torrential rain may have overtaken Hoboken the past few days, but on Sunday that didn’t stop the classic rockers of Rosewood Ghosts from getting their work done. Using Paul Vincent Studios’ main room as the setting for two new (and currently untitled) music videos and a free showcase later on that evening, the Hoboken-based band enlisted their friends from LocalBozo.com to help them film and invited Patch to come along for the ride.
