New E.P. – Coming Soon

We are thrilled to announce that September 12th will mark the release of The Lucky Ones, a brand new digital E.P. from the Rosewood Ghosts. It features five new originals songs, written and performed by the band throughout the past year. We are also excited to announce that this will be our first purely digital release. Starting on September 12th we will be debuting one song each day on rosewoodghosts.com, Facebook, and Tumblr. Once released, each song will become available for FREE streaming and download. That’s right, our days of slinging plastic compact discs are over (unless you want a copy of our old record). We are very excited for a free, green, and digital future.

Hurricane Irene Ravages our Studio

Hurricane Irene imposed her will on much of the East Coast, and our Hoboken studio was no exception. We took on three feet of water, destroying a bunch of our equipment and unfortunately our home. We are very grateful that no one we love was seriously hurt. Gear is replaceable. Check out our Tumblr page for some photos of the damage.

Whiskey Bar with Anthony DiTringo

A Farewell to Drummer Matt Teitelman

As revealed in the article that was posted here last week, the Maxwell’s gig was drummer Matt Teitelman’s final performance with the Rosewood Ghosts. His departure is an amicable one and he is leaving us as a friend. We wish him well in his future endeavors and hope to remain in touch as much as possible. In parting, we’d like to thank Matt for an incredible two and half years. Aside from being an all around solid guy, and a great friend, he has also been our backbone. And although its our duty as musicians to move on and keep the music going, it won’t be the same without you buddy! That said, the band must play on… look out for our new E.P. (featuring Matt on drums), to be released within the next month via rosewoodghosts.com.
