by Richie Frieman
Hoboken, New Jersey 7-piece Rosewood Ghosts is a band dripping with talent – a group who has been making and has been influenced by music for as long as they can remember; they know how to handle their instruments as well as anyone on the scene, good enough to blend a genre all their own: Post Classic Rock. We asked members (Jamie DiTringo, Joe Montague, Steve Brown, Matt Teitelman, Eric Walden, Adam Weissman and Saul Slotnick) about creating their own sound: “Our sound has evolved a lot in recent years. It’s rock and roll with a little extra something. There is ambience, there is twang, there is pop, there is also some heavy moving parts in some songs” says DiTringo. Weissman continues, “Thanksgiving dinner. Each element has its own dynamic flavor and distinctive quality, while working together in sweet, belly-filling unity that’ll have you coming back for seconds. More pie?”
